We step into the design process to help you create an objective and efficient course that involves all key stakeholder groups. Our strategic planning system encompasses three techniques:
Strategic Planning – a discipline for analyzing past and current environments; identifying capabilities, weaknesses, and opportunities; clarifying strategic options; and creating action plans focused on priorities and objectives.
Visioning – imagining a desirable future and working backwards to understand the journey that will carry your team into this future.
Graphic Facilitation – the use of very large working displays to reflect patterns in people’s thinking, imagery, and metaphors matched to the groups’ end goals.
We have worked with all types of companies, for-profit and nonprofits, and can draw on this experience to help you build a dynamic strategic plan designed to help your company achieve its goals…..not a boilerplate manual that just sits on the shelf.
Recommended format: While our strategic planning system is scalable to many different sizes of organizations and time commitments, we initially recommend a two (2) day interactive format customized to fit our clients’ needs including a "design session" to identify key outcomes and deliverables. If a two day meeting is not reasonable, we can shorten the planning session to one (1) day. The strategic planning session can also be integrated with a corporate retreat.
